Frequently Asked Questions

How much is shipping?
Shipping is free when you spend over €75. Orders below this amount cost €6.95.

Do you deliver all over Ireland?
Yes. We dispatch nationwide, and parcels usually arrive within 1 to 5 working days.

Which brands of cordless nailers do you stock?
We carry leading names such as DEWALT, Makita, Paslode, Milwaukee, Hikoki and SENCO, plus other trusted trade brands.

Do cordless nail guns need an air compressor?
No. Cordless models run on lithium-ion batteries or, in some cases, a battery + gas fuel cell. You do not need an external compressor or airline.

How are cordless nail guns powered?
Most tools use a high-capacity lithium-ion battery. Some “combination” nailersignite a small gas cell with battery power to drive each nail. Both systems give consistent power without a hose.

Are cordless nail guns worth the investment?
If you value speed and freedom of movement, yes. Cordless nailers cut set-up time, remove trip hazards and let you work where mains power or compressed air is not available. The higher initial cost is offset by time saved on site.

Which cordless nailer is best for my project?

First-fix/framing (50–90 mm): for stud walls, roofing and heavy carpentry.

Second-fix/finish (25–64 mm, 16-gauge): for architrave, skirting and panelling.

Brad nailer (15–50 mm, 18-gauge): for trim and light joinery where a small hole matters.
Match the nailer size to the thickest material you need to fix.

Why has my cordless nailer stopped working?
Check battery charge, clear any jammed nails, reload if the magazine is empty, and ensure the nosepiece is pressed firmly onto the workpiece. Clean the driver area and keep vents free of dust to prevent repeat stoppages.
